Description
The Coldstream Hills Reserve Shiraz has been a Single Vineyard wine since 2014, having been sourced from fruit grown nearby Coldstream Hills. This wine is made using traditional techniques in small open fermentation pots, including in some years, the use of whole clusters. The wine is matured in French oak barrels for approximately sixteen months, prior to blending and bottling.Tasting Notes
Medium-bodied in style, the palate displays classic cool climate suppleness, length of flavour and a chalky tannin finish. Dark cherry and blue fruit characters are harmoniously supported by inobtrusive French oak, pepper-spice and cinnamon.
